It is eco-friendly and quite good
I don't know much about the faculty and it's facilities but I do know they have a decent sized lecture theatre building, a good view when the horses are let out of the stables to run the fields and one of the best parking lots on the campus
Veterinary medicine is the branch of science that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, breeding, genetics, disorder and injury in animals.
The scope of Veterinary medicine is wide, covering all animal species, both domesticated and wild, with a wide range of conditions which can affect different species.
Veterinary science helps human health through the monitoring and control of zoonotic disease.
The faculty of Veterinary medicine, University of Ibadan. Was established in the year 1961.
The faculty was established with the separation of the three Veterinary departments namely,
1. Veterinary anatomy and physiology.
2. Veterinary medicine and surgery
3. Veterinary Pathology.
The Veterinary teaching hospital was however established in the year 1981.
It is noteworthy that all the programmes in the faculty are fully accredited by both the National University Commision and the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
