There is no place more soul-engaging than a home of art, especially our African cultural art. An art that best portrays the African philosophy is what appeals most delightedly to the true African person who has got his or her African heritage virgin, not replaced and or confused with and by Eurocentric paradigmatic methodologies and dictates. It is no doubt that even one who has lost the African consciousness, at a merger epistemic encounter with the unquestionably beauteous works of Baba Ighodalo, would be drawn back to root. The mediums utilized for work at the Ighodalos' is another striking impassable point that draws on to that inescapable introspection in ecstatic unity with nature, given that he works on soul (terracotta), Wood, bronze and the likes. He also stylishly combines mediums to produce beauty in representation of nature. The neatness of his works points to the purity of his mind (soul), as the organization that makes every piece fit in evenly, displays the orderliness of his thought.
