Also known as 'second Baptist church', because its foundation members were from the First Baptist church, Ebenezer BC is easily accessible from the three major access roads to Igbajo town. Conveniently situated on a low hillside, its small, cosy sanctuary is a fine example of early sixties church architecture, well preserved and lovingly maintained by the present generation. The is also a handsome pastor's quarters and a children's chapel. Presently, EBC is headquarters to Peniel Baptist Association, hence regularly hosts all the arms of the Baptist family in 3 LGA for their scheduled and special meetings and retreats. The congregation is friendly, though a majority are elderly with a dew students and children. If you choose to worship here on your next trip to Igbajo, Pls note that you should dress conservatively, trousers and short skirts are frowned upon!
