This place is in quite a dilapidated state for a "National" library... I went there in search of materials for a research work and was told they only had ''archives''... whatever that meant anyway. Also went further to ask if there's a place that I could at least stay for a while, while reading what I already have before that moment, I was informed that there's no "place to read" there and I was advised to visit their Area 2 branch in Garki for a place to read. Seems that's pretty ironic for a national library. One begins to wonder what exactly is their function. I hope this review goes a long way in helping for future improvements/renovation in the library.

The environment is not neat. Nigeria deserve a better facility as Library

This is the administrative headquarters. For basic library functions, visit its branches.
