The mosque was first built in 2001 and Friday prayers began in 2008. Its first imam was Mallam Abdul'azeez Hussaini. He also has two deputies, Mallam Saidu Yargwanda and Mallam Shuaibu Harisu Tsanyawa. Mallam Abdulazeez Hussaini is still in charge of the MOSQUE. Saminu Muhammad Tsanyawa
