The godmother of "historic". Seat to the traditional throne of the great city of Nnewi. Home of the Chief Custodian. The palace is a mix of ancient and modern structures. Their is a modern museum documenting the rich culture of Nnewi at the palace. If you visit Nnewi, you'd do yourself a favour by taking a tour of the Palace

Ìgwè Ọrizu Palace is one of it's Kind. Not just about the edifices in the Palace, but also the Personality of the sitting Igwe.(Ìgwè of Igwes). Needless to say, the Palace is 4.5 stars. It is a custodian of the Igbo Culture well represented by Nnewi town. In it's commercial state, it is booming. I know that more is coming to that palace every passing day.
