Saint John the Divine is the Second Anglican Church in Owerre Nkwoji after Saint Matthews Anglican Church near the Nkwoji Market. As a child we use to come to this Church for Children Bible Quiz competitions. They have produced Pastors, Venerable and even a Bishop. This Church was born out of necessity owing to the distance Anglican faithfuls cover from here to attend St Matthews. Despite initial hesitations and all sorts they persevered. Today residents of Umoke Village have their own Anglican Church
