Easy to access. Located in a resort, with other site attractions.
Rich historical portrayals, with realistic sculptures, pictures, drawings and illustrations including real life artifacts. Audio impressions also.
Frankly, one of the most impressing slave trade museums I've been in.
The building can however use an upgrade.
The place is very historical n it will be good if everyone could at least visit once. But the whole story got me emotional
Nice place to learn on the history of our people
Slave Trade Museum is located inside Marina resort in Calabar, the capital of Cross River State. Personally, my visit there was insightful and very fun. They have very well organized protocol to help you understand the history of slave trade, coupled with staff with great wealth of knowledge to tell the stories. I was also able to get other hard copy materials (books and dvd disc).
Happy to be there, I have wonderful time with colleagues ,what a beautiful place
