The hospital is the major hospital of Ebonyi state and it is very big too.
It is a federal teaching hospital and houses so many departments.
So many infrastructural developments are going on inside the hospital and so many equipments too which are put in place by the state government to modernize the hospital.
The hospital has two major entrance one located along Enugu - Abakaliki express way while the other entrance is situated towards Ezza road (Ebonyi Golf club).
This hospital is actually a state of art.... It is clean, and safe. The staffs are very friendly and polite. I have never seen such a huge hospital like Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital... I promise to visit once more for more photos and observations.
There's a Lassa fever centre here and it's well equipped. Uninterrupted power supply cos of the Solar energy. There's no signpost for the centre so you'd have to ask for directions although it's just beside the Obstetric fistula centre building.
It's quite a big hospital and it is easily accessible to anyone at anytime
This is a place where quality health services are provided. The National Obstetrics Fistula Centre for VVF treatment is also within this place.
