Great choice in calabar despite the things you hear, the rooms are functional and clean and there's a nice, large, clean pool. Staff are polite and helpful and there's a really nice pastry shop in front. The restaurant is good and the choices are obvious.

Monty suites is very lovely hotel. Home away from home. Located in a serene and lovely environment. For me location of hotel matters and the hotel has all the facilities to make your stay enjoyable. Love love

It's a beautiful place... You should definitely visit it. Nice pool and nice pool sit out and also great ice cream... Didn't Lodge so i don't know about the rooms but the Dj plays mad jams

One of the best hotels in Calabar. The overall experience was good, even for the classic suite. There are various accomodation options as well. A nice bar, bakery, pool and event centre. Only pet peeves about it is how isolated it feels from some of the happening areas for me.
