Oliver Twist Restaurant & Social House

It's a proper lounge with great service and professionals as patrons, with lovely rooms to stay. A quiet refuge in the busy city of Lagos, good food and great choice of drinks too....

“Pls sir, I want some more” is a famous quote from Oliver Twist as he asks the cook at the workhouse for more gruel (food). Since the  name Oliver Twist is synonymous to wanting more, I was really eager to find out what I’d want more in this Restaurant/Social House. I must say that the name is quite catchy... Oliver Twist Restaurant and Social House is located in Victoria island....one of the highbrow areas in Lagos. It has a simple and boujee decor.... it has a patio, games room, lounge and a boutique hotel (pictures are attached). It’s a very serene location to hold events, birthdays etc.... Infact an event took me there the first time I visited. Will definitely list all I’ve tried in this restaurant .😂😂😂 I had a taste of their long island.... taste was on point....its a 💯 for me and it’s turned into my regular there. For the food.... hmmmm!!!! Don’t say I didn’t tell you....try out the yam fries and grilled turkey with pepper sauce made by @ChopBetaFood (on Instagram) a food vendor in charge of the grill at Oliver Twist. I also tried their jollof and goat meat at Oliver Twist... wasn’t bad but felt like the goat meat had more bones than flesh.😔 I tried their platter... a combo of grilled chicken, plaintain, puff-puff, samosa, spring rolls.... and the puff-puff just does it for me...but then they can do better with the quantity.🤞🏽 When I had their chicken and chips.... I totally enjoyed the chicken.... they seem really good at prepping their chicken. Oliver Twist is a place where you can have fun, unwind and party....yes party. Talking about parties.... A party organised by @OrishaAndTheGang (on Instagram) took me there... The host popularly known as “Orisha of Lagos” made me feel comfortable. Orisha organizes events at posh restaurants and lounges all over Lagos so I was excited at the prospects of discovering a new spot.... So here are the things that will definitely make me want more in this restaurant. The quiet and conducive environ. Definitely the Long Island cocktail.🍹 The yam chips and turkey by @ChopBetaFood. Lastly, the theme parties organised by Orisha and The Gang. I feel their waiters can do more by being prompt with orders, smile more, gossip less and dress better.... my two cents tho.🤔 In general it’s a cool and coded place to unwind... Don’t mention... you’re welcome!!!!!!
