The rather cute barbecue spot is only a front for the larger-than-life personality of the owner who looks rather young for a business owner. But, this again is deceptive because he was quite professional and courteous whilst appearing like your regular neighbor and full of smiles. The opening was quite grand and he sold out before official closing hours on the first day. I think this speaks a lot. The environment features a nearby bar in the hotel which provides drinks to complement the rather tasty treat of grilled chicken+fried plantain. The environment seemed pleasant enough and homely especially in the late evening. Reviewer's secret: I liked also the burnt finish which I specifically requested for as it has quite a crispy outer texture. For a small scale barbecue spot, I'll give very high ratings. We now wait to see if this culture of satisfaction is maintained.

I sat with a stranger and a strange man over the best grilled chicken / dodo combo I have tasted in the University of Ibadan; no cap. One eventually became a friend, the other remained family. I do not know for certain what it was, the great chicken, delectable dodo, or just the atmosphere of serenity that enabled great conversation and relaxation but, for me, no other spot on campus has boasted a more complete offering of brilliant mental and savoury stimulation. I am a believer in Krusti's barbecue; crust so good, the mantle of satisfaction immediately follows.
