It is a worship centre for those of Christian Faith.. with a large auditorium to contain a very large congregation.

It has this nice atmosphere and during the mass, the choristers are doing their best to make you feel at home with their hymns that touch all the tribes of the country. The catechist is friendly and the priests are well learned and know just how to officiate the Mass to prevent you from zoning out. They are usually on time and you are sure to enjoy every bit of time spent there. There's a large parking space too so no worries about where to park.

Sacred Heart parish Gwagwalada is a Catholic church in Gwagwalada, Abuja. Gwagwalada is a Local government area in Abuja, It's a parish that has three stations which includes Saint Catherine Giri, another in Gwako and the third I can't recall. It's located on a popular road in Gwagwalada know as Park road. It's very close to the popular Wazobia Park (Interstate bus garage) in Gwagwalada. The parish can sit about 500 - 700 people with over 80 pews and upper floor with more chairs. The parish has been in existence for awhile now over 20 years, it is about 15-20 minutes drive from the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, a Minor seminary and the University of Abuja mini campus. The Sacred Heart parish Gwagwalada was recently reconstructed to a new design few years ago.
