Ajagbe High School is named after a man (Ajagbe) married to the first female settler called Akesan. The two of them were spouses and history said they were the establisher of Iperu-Remo. The spouses names reflected in the pedigree of the Town. However, history ala said they gave birth to a son called Eyo, the settle of Eko City(Lagos). This Iperu has common traditional masquerade which Lagos State celebrate elaborately year as Odun Eyo( Eyo Festival).
