Came in with an issue on an eta2834-2 movement. My compass says it's been magnetised. The jeweler was very acusive and judgemental. First thing he said it was non-sense. All movements are made anti-magnetic.. Which isn't true. What's the sense of owning a Milgauss? Or big pilot? Also his technical assessment was way off. Saying things like I did something to the watch. He wanted to keep it. Probably to make me pay to the nose. I would have been happy with a simple demagnesation. It's what I needed. Not some full service. I used to admire this man due to his watchmakers history. No more though. Fraud.
Had bought a nice watch from this jeweler a while ago, helped well and kindly. The watch strap broke within a short time, and a nice replacement strap was offered without any pain. That while the watch was discounted and the strap was almost as expensive as the watch :) service as you hardly get it nowadays ....
Beautiful things. But the staff were talking about other people, not neat.
Extremely competent and friendly staff. Beautiful jewelry. Too bad, but understandable, that they will stop.
A good reliable jeweler prices are just okay as staff is professional
