This afternoon an appointment that my handicapped son could be seen at 2 pm at the emergency room of the UMC. We are now almost 6 hours later and in that time only an oral examination was done, a CT scan that was completed in 10 minutes, a long photo that was taken in 5 minutes and now we are already waiting for the result for an hour and a half. The photo and the scan ... in a room where there is nothing to do for a disabled child. 5 hours Samson and Gert and Bassie and Adriaan on a tablet ... and just waiting ... for what? The care is good but the way it is provided is WORTHLESS !! No idea why it's called emergency because I am still waiting after 6 hours and there is still no shot in it.
