We had 3 nights here recently and very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were really great, the room was large and comfortable, there's lovely cycling, boating and walking nearby. The hotel has a good restaurant (but a limited menu when we stayed). If renting their electric bikes be sure to ask about the battery display.
Nice and cosy place to stay with good value of food, rooms and service for the money.
There is space, quality and country site with everything you like!
Superb, quiet, cozy
What delicious food you can eat at De IJsvogel's restaurant! We regularly visit hotels and love a good bite to eat. This kitchen (chef) really deserves a big compliment! We both ordered different dishes and everything looked beautiful and the flavors were delicious. Also more than sufficient. Breakfast was just such a feast. Generous, deliciously fresh and wide choice.
The hotel offered us a pleasant and spacious room with adequate ventilation (room 19 with its own entrance next to the reception). The plumbing was neat, only the hair dryer in the room was missing. The beds were lovely (not too hard / soft), but two separate beds (pushed together). The staff are helpful and friendly.
There is a sauna that is personally available. You do not share this (in this corona time) with others and that is very pleasant.
There is also a golf course, ample (free) parking and the hotel is located in beautiful surroundings. As far as we are concerned, this hotel, but also the restaurant, is highly recommended!
