Every year we have a family weekend with about 30 people, now in the age of 89 years to 9 months. We have gained a lot of experience with different group accommodations. Last weekend we were at the stelp farm De Welstand in Pingjum. After a welcome from the owners who enthusiastically told us whether the energy-neutral farm was the downer when we entered. We found the entire accommodation not clean. The floors, chairs and tables were stuck. The sanitary facilities were apparently clean, but when you looked closer there was a lot of dirt. We first cleaned the kitchen before we could happily prepare our food. Although we could see very well the idea behind the farmhouse's layout, we found it cluttered with furniture which was sometimes beautiful antiques, but often in poor condition. The many different beds in the many bedrooms to create an accommodation for many people made it sometimes cramped and uncomfortable. What a pity that the owners have left such an important point in terms of beauty and hygiene. Because the farm is really beautiful and is located in a beautiful part of Friesland!

A well-equipped group accommodation: everything is there. Lots of space in and around the farm. Unfortunately not clean ...

Large accommodation with many facilities, but outdated. Very nice owners.
