We had a nice visit to the studio of Douwe Elias. Hospitable reception from Douwe Elias and his assistant and a beautiful collection. Of course we also bought a beautiful work from him. Well worth a visit!
What a happiness for Franeker that Douwe Elias and his partner Leoni Pietjou have restored the beautiful De Gebroeders warehouse. It is shining on the Froonacker. What also shines, are the beautiful paintings: interiors, landscapes, portraits, still lifes of a cup and saucer, it is all equally beautiful and attractive :-)
