The area is almost ready and promises to be a nice place for the (water) birds. Hopefully there better places to enjoy the area for many bird watchers / lovers. Maybe a nice birdhouse is an option !!!! Update: There is a bird viewing screen located on the south west side of the lake.

Nice piece of nature near Utrecht. Have been cycling past it all my life. You can't swim there. However, the lake looks like a construction site for almost 6 years now, to make it more attractive for birds. I don't understand that it should take so long. A few sturdy trash cans would also be a good idea. Remains a nice place for cycling.
