As oasis of peacefulness and cozyness

A wonderfully quiet part of Utrecht in the middle of the city with a number of special columns. The columns do not come from Rome, but from Rotterdam. To be precise: from a 19th century church that was in ruins after the bombing of Rotterdam on 14 May 1940. In the 1950s, the city of Utrecht was able to use these stones well to build houses and restore buildings, including the Dom Tower. These pillars remained and were placed in the garden of the former Regulierenklooster.
