Traded my Peugeot 308sw for a gorgeous Audi A4 2.0 TDI. Had some initial problems, solved by Emmen Twins without a hiccup. Great buyers experience and friendly staff. Car is a dream to drive and still looks the part. Definitely recommend.

April 2020 bought a Volvo V60 (year of construction 2014) at auto twins in Emmen for just over € 12,000. Mr immediately started talking about trust and we certainly had this in him after the conversations. On April 25 picked up the car and upon return it turned out to be on winter tires (we should of course have checked this ourselves during the test drive). Within 3 weeks the temperature sensor turned out to be broken (costs € 180). Less than 5 months after purchase and less than 6000km the car indicated engine failure and we went to the Volvo dealer to have it read out and we were told that there were a lot of costs involved. Intake manifold + pipe, EGR valve + cooler and valve cover gasket had to be replaced (almost € 2100 in costs). The engineer indicated that the oil leak in particular had been present for a long time. The dealer offered that twins could contact the mechanic so that he could provide text and explanations about his findings. Contacted twins directly at home and presented this to mister, he indicated that he has no confidence in Volvo dealers and therefore will not contact the Volvo mechanic. Then I point the gentleman to the law "sales and guarantees for consumer goods", to which he indicates that he does not care what a judge determines. I just had to text him the license plate so that he could find out, 6 days later I contacted the gentleman again about how things are going. He had been in contact with the garage where he had received the MOT and service and this indicated that allies were good at the inspection ......... point. I have responded to this with again all defects and that you can expect something different from a car in this price range, which is also legally established. This has been over a month ago and I am still waiting for a response from sir. I have already had some cars from different dealers / garages, but I have (luckily) never experienced being treated like this before. Next time again to a dealer or a company that is affiliated with the BOVAG.
