Zwijndrecht

A little but very functional station. Zwijndrecht's first railway station was opened on 1 November 1872. In 1895 the station was relocated to the southeast, because the old location was not very convenient. The current railway building was constructed in 1965.

Clear station, even with a kiosk. Recently also take-away options for pharmacy.

Replacement train transport was very badly arranged. Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Gloomy station building inside with the inevitable public transport chip card gates that spoil the look. Nothing can be found on the platform of the station building design by architect Douma, a pity that the harmony has been lost as a result. It would be nice if the post-war style came back a bit more. In the hall at the front is a Kiosk and a toilet.
