A great business friendly service good kitchen pleasant atmosphere. Listening carefully to your wishes and assisting you with advice and action. Also a nice beer menu and go in search of the special beer when the guests ask for it, which makes Leo and I really happy! Thank you Michel from Du Bistro! Delicious winter sports menu in corona time.

Beware: do not read this review if you are fat about a kilo more. My wife and I were looking forward to pampering ourselves and decided to eat out at home. Because of their surprising and advantageous menu, we chose Du Bistro from Zwijndrecht. When we opened the beautiful boxes, we knew immediately that we were in the right place because of the festive black plates. One of the advantages of eating at home is that you can eat from each other's plate unabashedly. As a starter we had chosen deer carpaccio together: delicious and with the color of my wife's ruddy cheeks. PS As a Capricorn I am used to a lot, but this made me rut! As a second appetizer we had chosen smoked salmon with shrimp croquettes. As our daughter says, “it's impossible” so delicious: As a half Belgian I know that you have to have a lot of guts and a feeling for shrimp croquettes: these were beautifully crunchy and heavenly tasty (next time, please twice as much!). The salmon was still swimming yesterday and caused a surprise: we discovered small strips of red onion between the salmon. What had that crook of a cook (nickname is Thomas) done? He had marinated these in a divine sweet and sour sauce, so that that sharp and all-dominating onion flavor had disappeared like snow in the sun and I ate my fingers! The next box of our mains: my wife had cod with remoulade sauce. We can be brief about this: at the 1st bite she shouted "cod, I love you" and after tasting the sauce she whispered with pursed lips that sensual name "remoulade". When I saw my main course being a German steak, I immediately thought of Merkel: so big and round, but it was also tender and juicy! Because I had already eaten my fingers with the appetizer, I could no longer lick it off when I tasted the delicious gravy. And then the dessert: my wife had opted for a “flower pot”. Another advantage of eating out at home is that everyone spontaneously shares their experience out loud. After the 1st bite she started to blush again and it sounded “Ahhhh, Mmmm, so good” to end with a deep sigh “I am round, but I have one more for tomorrow and I will share it with my daughter! ” The moral: from now on, when we hear and see “always surprising and beneficial” every day, we think of all those other Vs (fresh, delicious, feasting, lots, pampering, fingers,… ..) of the fedex with the name Du Bistro!
