A nice little park in the centre off Voorburg.

A lovely quiet park with view of 'the Vliet' canal that goes from Delft to Leiden. The park itself has a lot of benches for it size and it main attraction is the second thickest tree of the Netherlands. Its diameter is 2.30 meters. The tree was place in 1685 and has its own social media account if you search for 'Plantaan_LV'. There is also a rosarium and information about a Roman settlement.

You know its hood

Pleasant and quiet, yet too busy on days off (read: a Sunday on which a fresh layer of snow has fallen) to simply stick to the Covid guidelines. Pleasant open park with here and there a path in between, now and then an exciting work of art to reflect on and small water features with a variety of city birds. In addition to dog lovers, it is also great to play and walk with children. No noise from traffic along the river or Prinses Mariannelaan.
