Huge positive surprise. What a lovely garden with impressive statues! They have a variety of art pieces from different artists, different styles and different materials. Great to walk around. Staff friendly. Entrance fee reasonable, they do not support Museumjaarkaart. The outside collection is changed partially. Inside they have temporary exhibitions and some gallery sales. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Very worthwhile

This sculpture garden contains 89 modern works of art. In addition, there are some works of art on display inside, but are not part of the sculpture collection in the garden. From the terrace you can see some of the images and enjoy hot or cold drinks. The choice is not extensive, but certainly not wrong for thirst. The images are numbered and can be found on the map that you receive. All statues are provided with information such as artist, year and a short explanation and are located in a beautifully maintained garden. Art is personal. The elephant in wood is detailed, recognizable and confronting and is certainly not wrong. Other art is beautiful because of the enlargement or technique used. As with the 2 statues with a boy as the basic model. I think the image that contains music is funny. But there is also art that takes space to another level. Or internally contradictory. Or, as with the "Hanging Men", want a dialogue with the environment and the spectator. Just say: the communicating art. Communicating Vessels; that's more my thing. Sorry 😔. Count 1 minute for each image, 10 minutes for 1 coffee, 10 minutes for the indoor collection, you will be there in 2 hours. Unless you have brought young children with you, you will not make it to the 2 hours.
