Huygens' Hofwijck

The gardens are well maintained, and so is the interior. The museum is not big, but very interesting nonetheless. Very kid-friendly as well.

Well maintained gardens to walk through. A nice history of the Huygens family.

It's relatively small and there are no indications to where you can go into the house which is quite fun to see in the middle of a pond. It's a bit empty too. I would recommend to visit it later in the year for the garden.

Amazing place that is rich of historical facts around the scientific revolution of the Golden Era of the Dutch republic. The tour guides are passionate about their job and are quite knowledgeable regarding the topics covered in the tour. I highly recommend this place for a day out and the nearby park to the West for a relaxing walk after the tour.

An Interesting house, nice original and reproduced artefacts about huygens' scientific investigations. And a beautiful garden with authentic flora. Small, but worth a visit.
