Nieuwe Plantage Park

Beautiful part of the picturesque city of Delft. Classic late 19th century houses next to an oasis of green. All within walking distance from cozy restaurants, shops and cafes.

Not really a park that you might imagine it would be, but still a lovely strip of nature with art, A statue of the former Dutch queen Wilhelmina and a World war 2 memorial. It has some open areas for picnics and for soaking up some sunrays but space is limited. You can walk through the park within 15 minutes and discover some lovely, typical Dutch buildings and architectural monuments like Villa 'Vrijeban'. At both ends of the park there are Dutch canals to enjoy.

Green strip with a slight slope on the north side of the center of Delft, with beautiful old trees. In good weather a lot of activity on the lawns. In the middle the monument to the fallen in WWII.
