St. Augustine Church

Its a very beautiful church. A so called 'Waterstaat' church. It has been build with support of the Dutch government in the 19th century because the liberty of religion was officially restored by that time. The church is dedicated to St. Augustine. Augustine monks runned this parish church in the inner city till recently. Currently it isn't possible to attent religious services here due to long during restauration works. So the only thing you can see is the outside of the church. For the Holy Mass you go to the St. Catharina Kathedraal. Sunday Masses at 10.30 in Dutch and 12.30 in English.

I just love to light a candle for everyone who is in my mind. Hope that the church will soon open its doors again, so that everyone can admire them again.
