Funny to see two of these shops right next to each other. Had a nice walk arround during my visit in Utrecht :) Had a few small questions but unfortunately I did not buy anything, was helped very friendly tho Great shop :)

Very very expensive store. Deliberately made parts separate so you have buy everything before make a working toy.

All experiences taken together. A good morning cannot be dismissed. For model cars you should not go to this store. Certainly those from Wiking are more expensive than the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Not so bad in itself were it not that the prices of the model cars are not visible, so you have to ask for the price. If you want to buy one model car (just over 10 euros) and pay in cash with a 20 euros note, a sigh follows because the shopkeeper does not know whether he has enough change in his cashier. He still says casually "Can't pay by pin". Now I could have done that. But at that moment I had had it with the customer friendliness, I took the 20 euros back and left the car there (what that shopkeeper looked strange) .... If you order an item in the webshop, you will pick it up in the store. They ask in the store what you ordered. You will receive the correct item but which one was ordered by someone else. Months later you will receive a phone call to ask if you will pick up your order. Well, sir, he had already been picked up. It seems more logical to me when you come to pick up an order that you look it up by the name of the orderer instead of by the content of the order.
