Centrally located and so well placed to explore the old town of Utrecht. The staff on reception are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is great. Continental plus fruits, juices, cereals and hot fresh food and pastries. Coffee great also. The sound insulation between rooms is poor and the sounds travel well. Doors slam shut easily and sound really loud. I didn't sleep well due to this. Bed was comfortable. Room was large as was bathroom. Both can be warm from central heating. If you like climbing stairs you'll love this place. Lifts/Elevators also available.

Bang in the middle of the city centre. Clean and comfy bed. They could do with new showers but this place is amazing for the price and the staff are so lovely. Recommend

A group of us stayed here (around 50 of us in total) and the hotel did a great job at ensuring we had everything we needed and the staff were absolutely brilliant, efficient and very friendly. The only let-down is the decor of some of the rooms - a lot smell 'old' and a bit musty and the acoustics are very bad - I could hear almost everything - so not great if you're a light sleeper. But if you're on a budget, don't mind more of a shabby chic stay and need a really convenient location then this is the hotel for you.

Always a pleasure staying in the Apollo hotel in Utrecht. The receptionist seriously just came running down the stairs to help me with my bag. Last time I stayed here they allowed me to keep smelly French cheese in their lobby fridge, free of charge, which was a life saver. The rooms are just lovely and the breakfast is perfect. Location is fab. Improvements could be made on the corridor's decor (a bit outdated compared to the rooms) and the toilet paper could be of better quality. Also, rooms in the souterrain are not as spacious as others upstairs. Other than that: great stay.
