Club Poema

I enjoyed the place. Good security, kind to expats. Good drinks. A lot of spillage from young people but enjoyable. I would recommend it for those visiting Utrecht.

Wouldn't recommend this place! I've been to my fair share of clubs and this one definitely ranks near the bottom. It was like an overcrowded sauna. The music wasn't coherent - from nirvana, to Beyoncé to a random techno song? The smoking area was disgusting with no ventilation. On the positive side, the bouncers were nice and drinks were cheap.

This is a typical Dutch student bar. You'll hear anything from decade old club bangers to the Pokémon theme song. Problem is that the sound is not well adjusted. At higher volume, they need to dampen the treble somewhat because I was left with a noise in my ear. It's too bad really, because it can be fixed easily without a worse experience.

Awful music paired with an awful sound system. Slippery and sticky floor thanks to countless intoxicated teenage students incapable of standing straight with their drinks. Rude bouncers, careless staff. No idea how anyone feels this equates a great time.

This place good for young people ( max. Early 20's)
