I initially planned my makeup here for my wedding. As it should be, this includes "test layout". Together with my mother I did this, the first test did not go well and was obviously nothing special about it. After a series of explanations and even showing photos with examples (contouring, shading, highlighting, etc.) started on a 2nd attempt which unfortunately went just as wrong as the first attempt, there was simply nothing special about it again and it It had now become clear to me that it was up to the "skills". After the 2nd failed attempt, I indicated that I have no faith in them and therefore do not want to use it for my wedding. They then indicated that my type of skin was unsuccessful (they are not used to it) and that they indeed cannot meet their wishes because they do not know how to do this (!). Anyway, this is all fine and allowed, but then asking € 80 in total for the failed test version (from my mother and I) is very unreasonable. It would have been better if it was just admitted "sorry, we can't" and a small amount was charged for a fee than just € 80! All in all a disappointing and very pricey experience.

I came here a few years ago for my bridal makeup. This was very knowledgeable and well cared for with a clear eye for my personal taste. Since then I have regularly come to De Pauw, a nice team of people, where you come from relaxed and well cared for. The products and expertise are high quality.
