Beautiful, small-scale nature reserve. In earlier times an outdoor swimming pool was located here. Storks breed and the ponds are full of frogs and other aquatic life. Also many butterflies and insects to admire in the hedges.

A beautiful spot for the car and shade all day at the end of the Melkwegsetienweg. Nice for a visit to the Vikinghof near Wijk bij Duurstede. A nice starting point for a walk through the nature reserve Vikinghof and along the Kromme Rijn river. You can combine the walk nicely with a visit to the beautiful city of Wijk bij Duurstede.
