A very personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional team, but with 1 flaw... The positive and most important first: If you are looking for someone who will provide you with the absolute best shoes, then go to this store. I have very difficult feet and very specific demands where it comes to how the shoes look. I do NOT want to wear shoes that are recognizable as orthopedic shoes... This very important to me, the shoes must be like any other. I am now on my 4th pair and I am still very satisfied with the results!! Again, to me this is most important of all... Also of course: Friendly people, I am always welcomed with coffee or tea, and they really want to provide you with the best shoe possible. They listen to your story/background, and try to accommodate your demands without losing doctor's orders of course. What can improve is the communication with their customers. I myself know that they do not always react timely to emails fe. So, what I usually do is call, to which they always act. And BE PROACTIVE as a customer in making appointments and arrangements, thus ensuring timely deliveries. And this relationship works for me. When everything is added and subtracted (the shoes are the most important of all!! and these are really best fitting/fashionable!), I will give Van Gils a 4.5 out of 5, rounded to 5 out of 5... Do not think there is a better orthopedic shoe-store in this region, and if there is I would like to know...

My brother in the Nursing Home has an appointment this morning after calling Bunnik and Amersfoort no answer a tape left my phone no answer my brother is impressed by this I don't think this is possible and if it is because of Corona they should at least let you know

Friendly ... be well cared for while waiting with tea / coffee and if necessary a nice conversation with Magda. But Magda does not hear from him again. I am a customer there last year I ordered boots for my very difficult feet no problem mrs will be fine! they were finished when it was spring so they are new in the closet. Now I ordered summer shoes months back, the last call was (after many phone calls from my side) you really get them within 3 weeks. We are now entering the 6th week. No, positively, I am no longer a van Gils, no appointment, they keep and people stick to a line. I therefore intend to leave there! I hear many complaints and I now know why! Mrs. P Lankester.
