Large new lock in the Randmeren area. Because the rye-bone sluice is still working, there is no decay. So when it disappears, a new and changed area will arise. The reevediep is connected to camps where there is also a lock (the Scheeresluis) that gives access to the IJssel.

Another obstacle. Bad service for recreational boating. Nice lock together with commercial shipping. Spartan. "Yachts, find out" is the message of RWS, as is often the case.

It is a beautiful lock. Only the information for pleasure boating through water cards is not formulated very well. Furthermore, insufficient information has been provided by Rijkswaterstaat about the commissioning. The operation of the lock leaves a lot to be desired.
