What a great port to arrive and stay! If we have time, we go to Kampen with our sailing yacht at least twice a year. And we always choose WSV de Buitenhaven. Why? Because there is no better harbor master than ARNOLD DE GUNST. What does that man know what you need as a skipper. Always on the scaffolding. Never grumpy. Always time for a chat and not afraid to correct people when they are annoying. Delicious! Staying in Kampen is also a celebration because of the wonderful history of Kampen. And there is much to see of that history. The parks, buildings, churches, museums, everything in its full glory. Affordable and very accessible. Kampen is a must. But then moor at WSV de Buitenhaven.
