The 'waterloop bos' is a forest full of hydraulic models once used to study the behavior of water. It is a National monument where hundreds of studies have been conducted. You will find remnants of the research into the Delta Works, but also of water works for exotic places such as the port of Lagos. The forest is freely accessible from sunrise to sunset. Marked walking routes lead you past the models of waterworks that lie like ruins in the forest. The old waterways are still intact and often well maintained, but here and there nature has been given free rein. The forest is easily accessible, also for people with walking difficulties. Beautiful mushrooms can be admired along the paths in autumn. The forest offers unique and beautiful images for photographers to capture throughout the seasons. The Pavilion Het ProefLab // is open on: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for coffee and lunch. Friday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM for coffee, lunch and dinner. Free walking on roads and paths, suitable for wheelchair - There are 2 barrier-free routes (1.8 and 2.5 km) - Near Kraggenburg is an adapted fishing pier Opening hours: National monument Waterloopbos is freely accessible from sunrise to sunset
