Earth Society House East Netherlands

Although it is a private neighbourhood, the residents are very welcoming, or at least they were with us when we showed up unannounced on a day when there were not supposed to be any guided visits. We loved seeing the place, walking around and speaking to residents about their project and their houses which they built themselves. Amazing concept. They shared their experience with us and the benefits and hassles of this type of living. We learned a lot.

I love the houses and the community. Very inspiring that people have builded such a great self sustainable place. Love the social aspect of it also. Very nice and warm people. I feel always very welcome there.
