Even though it is 15 years ago, the memory of my father's funeral by the Fa. I will never forget Rebel. The reason that I am only now writing a review has everything to do with 2 recent TV recordings, the Driving Judge and Undercover in the Netherlands. For the Driving Judge, it was mainly about the client of the funeral, there was the conclusion that everything goes through the client. In 2004 both my parents died with an interval of half a year. At my mother's funeral I was confronted with a speech by the daughter of my sister, who died at the age of 23. This touched me deeply, as I did not recognize myself and my children in her wonderful experience with my mother. To prevent this from happening again, it was agreed that no one would speak at my father's funeral. This time I was of course the only daughter / child the client. Given the family circumstances, I indicated to Mr Rebel by telephone that I was afraid that the same person would again have a painful talk for me and my children. I was told that that would not happen, I was the client I was told. To my great sorrow and surprise, my niece standing by the minister's open grave got the floor again. As a result, I ran away with my family and in-laws, so real closure was made impossible for me. That still keeps me busy every day. Messrs Rebel did not seek contact after it happened, I had to do that myself. I didn't have to ask for the bill, it came from itself. At my request a conversation took place at Ds. Van Gogh at home with also at my request in the presence of Mr J. Rebel. A conversation of an hour and a half without a cup of coffee, but we would like to start with a Bible reading, we refused, it is right afterwards. During that conversation it turned out that the man my sister was married to before she died with the pastor and Mr. Rebel had decided to give the niece the floor despite my appointment with Mr. Rebel. It also turned out that the ex-brother-in-law had acted as a testamentary executor, but they did not fall for that. In other words, being a client did not mean anything behind my back. Doing something that was clearly not the deal, so that I was the only daughter to be deprived of a worthy goodbye. These are underhanded unfair practices, so I cannot imagine that this has never happened before. It has caused me a lot of sorrow, why did the interests of the other have to take precedence over those of me and my family, the Fa. Rebel has mixed in family affairs. When making the agreements, only my ex-brother-in-law was present and he agreed to my request not to give speeches. I still feel cheated, that's why I still want to get rid of this after 15 years.

I first had my son lars buried in November 1997 by rebel. this day was very special and indeed completely the way we wanted it. so beautiful that my mother immediately said that she too wanted to be buried by Mr. Rebel and that funeral was also very good. especially after the death of lars, the rebel family made sure that I really had the feeling that I had plenty of time to do or think of things and that was very important to me.
