Smart Stuc

They are easy to schedule an appointment, but they cannot be reached for the service afterwards. I've been trying to contact them for months for some repairs due to bad delivery. There are bubbles behind the wallpaper, visible space between the wallpaper strips and leaking kit pieces. I would certainly not recommend them and if you still want to hire them, withhold half of the quotation amount as a guarantee until it is completely ready, otherwise you will not get them and you have to look for another party.

Very disappointing experience with Smart Stuc. At the beginning of June we wanted to make an appointment to visit Smart Stuc in Edam to see their product. This was only possible on July 1. Driven here from The Hague. Almost an hour spent explaining what our wishes were and when things had to take place. At that moment drove away with a positive feeling. A few days later, there was a deception and anger that we spent time on this and spent money on gasoline. Easy Stuc already had a bigger, more interesting job when we wanted to tender this job and could not help us. Gerry also indicated that we would still have enough time to find another supplier. In 1 word "NON-VALUE".

You can email or call whatever you want, never respond. Often pass on name for new jobs, but I don't do that anymore.

If you only go for the result, you should be at Smart Stuc. It all looks neat, nothing to complain about. However, everything around it was quite disappointing. The first observation of the men - at 7 o'clock in the morning - was that the walls were not wallpaper-ready / flat enough and that this involved additional costs. A false start, because you do not expect this at a brand new new-build house and it is not a pleasant message (so early and before the start of work). I would recommend Smart Stuc to come and take a look in advance whether the walls are to your liking. Another bitter pill was the fact that they had forgotten a full space in the calculations, even though this was explicitly stated by us in advance. Result? Additional costs. At the end of the ride we had to inform ourselves if they were ready. There was no formal delivery time, items (paint and wall sockets) were still on the floor. One wall appeared to be moderately painted (paint had not caught well everywhere). As described, the further quality delivered is fine and definitely recommended. However, nothing was done with the complaints / comments. Telephone responses were laconic, defensive, reproachful and lacking in empathy. The total cost was ultimately little different from competition. We have not had a very pleasant feeling about it, but are happy with the result.
