My kitten Coco and I are very satisfied with this veterinary clinic. Normally I don't write reviews but Drs Hoekstra deserves a shout-out for her patience, expertise and care. A few days after our appointment, she also sent me some training tips — I thought that was very thoughtful. PS to my fellow internationals: she explains things very clearly in English if you need it :)

Very nice practice. Our cats went here for different things and so far we have had a fantastic experience every time. The doctors treat the animals in a sweet way and the prices are very reasonable

Super nice practice. Drs Hoekstra is very loving with my cats. Explains things well and tries to put you at ease. She is not only sweet and capable of my animals, but also for me as an over-anxious boss ...

In March my cat had surgery on her tummy to remove tumors, Dr. Hoekstra said it was possible (according to her there was no metastasis to be seen on the photos taken). Two months after the operation it was all misery for our dear little one. Her eye became more and more rounded for two months and she had red spots in her iris (these spots became bigger and bigger, but according to Dr. Hoekstra and Dr. Winius this could not be "evil", they were only slight discolorations). She also had an inflammation several times, causing her to have a fever and slightly dried out. After having had metacam for a long time, we thought it would be better. Unfortunately this did not happen. Our cat fell on the morning screaming on the floor, moments later she all had thick clumps of mucus on her mouth and she was also shaking her head strangely every ten minutes. We went urgently to Dr. Hoekstra to have her examined, but he was not able to notice anything strange and said it must have been a flu. Monday evening we went to another clinic closer to home to have her examined again. We were shocked to find out that our poor creature was dying. For some time her abdominal cavity was full of blood and she had spread tumors to her head and eye. We could not have done anything else but give her an injection that night. Our poor creature could have suffered so much less if Dr. Hoekstra and Dr. Winius had done their job properly.
