After my old diesel engine crashed this summer, a nightmare for every boat owner, we decided to make the switch to an electric drive. I quickly went to companies in and around Amsterdam, but Berend was the only one who had time and took the time to think along with us to find a solution. I never had to worry about unexpected costs, the phone was always answered, and installation was completed within weeks. The sloop, meanwhile, sails wonderfully quietly and performs to expectations!
Absolutely an expert when it comes to converting your diesel sloop to electric. Good no-nonsense advice, no commercial talk but just honest about what the best solution is ... I myself had devised a solution for my boat, but Berend Jan came up with a smarter solution that was even cheaper!
