My family and I embarked on a Splash bus tour in Amsterdam a few weeks ago. It was a unique and fascinating experience. I was surprised by how stable the vehicle felt in the water! The tour guide was fantastic and imparted lots of interesting snippets of information about the surrounding areas and the canals. I felt that it was a very cost-effective and highly original way to take a boat trip on the water. My husband and our teenage son equally enjoyed the experience!
Fun tour, even if you already live in Amsterdam.
The tour focuses on the northern part of Amsterdam and the area around the central station. This tour does not go on the smaller canals in the inner city.
The tour has some interesting information about the city and it’s history and the transfer from land to water was definitely a fun moment.
There were Dutch and German passengers on the tour when we were there, so the guide did the explanations in both languages although I’m or sure if all of the german was comprehensible as it contained some Dutchisms. The guide was very friendly and fun, we had a nice afternoon.
You won't be disappointed with this tour. A unique experience dropping into the water in a yellow bus🤪. Not you typical canal boat experience. Quite unexpected and really terrific.
Must do thing in Amsterdam. There is a Guide, who provides you abundant information about Amsterdam and the buildings as you splash your way through road and canal.
If you wana brag about something crazy you did in Amsterdam - it's definitely this.
A fun tour with a lovely guide who knows what she is talking about as she studied history and more! The driver was lovely too, brought us safely from road to water and back to the road. We had a lot of laughs and learned a lot of interesting things about Amsterdam and it's history. The bus was super clean and nicely warm (it was freezing outside). The sensation of splashing into the water was amazing! Super comfy :) Thanks Willemijin and Humpfrey ❤
