Nice and welcoming place! Nice and quiet environment, nice to relax. Rooms are not luxurious but certainly comfortable.

Last week we stood with our small camper on the beautiful natural camping grounds of Buitenwedde. What a warm welcome, what a beautiful setting and what a nice and special camping spot. You are actually the only camper in the front garden of the Buitenwedde farm, but of course you can use all the facilities of the campsite: wonderfully clean sanitary facilities, a cozy fire pit with free wood, a kitchen with washing up facilities, a dry weather facility, and a fantastic beautiful garden where you can relax in your hammock! The environment is an eye opener! Nothing flat, boring Groningen landscape: an enormous variety of natural beauty, meandering rivers, nature reserves, small hamlets, it is impossible! We cycled, hiked all week (nature reserve starts 5 minutes from the campsite) and canoe! If you have ever thought: let's skip Groningen ..... go to Buitenwedde! Cordial managers, Fedda and Margreeth, are very hospitable. Quiet campsite, beautiful area in Westerwolde for walking and cycling. Hikers' cabins were clean and spacious enough, excellent beds. Wonderful showers! And a kitchen for general use! What else do you want! Next time some sunshine, but nothing else to criticize.

A lovely small and quiet campsite with a very warm welcome. Fully equipped, even if you are in transit and have no cooking or cooling facilities yourself. The cozy sleeping cabins are also definitely worth a recommendation! Camping with a plus!

What a nice quiet nature campsite! 8 cozy camping pitches in a beautifully set up garden / orchard environment. Tap and telephone charging point and campfire place in the middle, very handy. Excellent and super clean bathrooms and kitchen. And do not forget the wonderfully nice owners who showed us around the beautiful surroundings of Wedde. This area of ​​the province of Groningen turns out to be a pearl of the Netherlands! We could safely store our canoe at the parking lot of the campsite. We heartily recommend this campsite to nature lovers. We will definitely come back!
