Nice local supermarket with great fresh produce.

We have a holiday home in Exloo, so I was a customer who likes to come back every time at long intervals Coop. I really liked the old shop. Been to the new store today and honestly; the nice feeling is completely gone with me. Everything that could be changed has changed. But then really everything. In my opinion you are now also running against the direction. I was wondering if the ceiling was actually finished? In any case, the whole is very sterile. I understand that the new coolers have less loss, but it does not make it clearer. What I really miss is the old corner of the butcher. Parking lot was also packed and packed. The reason to drive to Coop is actually no longer there for me. If it still has to be "factory" I will drive to Borger to AH. Sorry but to me a clear example of "upgrading isn't always better".

It was always nice and quiet shopping. Since the renovation I have been reluctant to come there. It is crazy busy and you are expected to do your shopping with the hand scan. After all, there are only 2 cash registers left. The feeling of safe, 'home' shopping is completely gone. The supermarket has changed from a village shop into a shop with big city allure. It was fine the way it was. Not every change is an improvement! In response to your response .... of course a lot of things have remained good. That's why I made it 3 stars, that's more real. Staff as always super friendly and helpful. The range is more extensive. It is still a beautiful, fresh supermarket. However, there are still 2 manned checkouts, the rest is for the self-scanner. I also understand that it is something of me personally that I do not think that an improvement. We never had to wait long and that personal contact has something friendly and I like that. I reacted too emotionally with that 1 star, but I almost left the store twice, because I found the enormous crowds very unpleasant. I will keep coming and I look for the quieter moments. Perhaps the home feeling will return when it is easier to find your way in the store. Thanks for your response iig.
