Bizarre there you walk through Leiden in search of everything that the city has to offer And then suddenly a monument without mention, I thought that was a pity So after the lesser photos I went back again ff Result may be MI, so a Pin for this monument As it should be, now hope that more people are aware of this beautiful monument in Leiden Success

This statue was erected during the 350th celebration of 'Leidens Ontzet' on 3rd of october1924. Queen Wilhelmina opened the monument that honors the heroes: William of Orange, Jan van Hout, Jan van der Does and Louis of Boisot around 1574.
