Hotel Restaurant 't Goude Hooft

We stayed at the hotel around 2 weeks ago. Perfect room and service, but there's one thing a bit annoying... Our key cards cannot be used to open our rooms during our stay (3 days 2 nights). I have gone to the receptionist to renew the room keys, but it kept happening to us. Perhaps assessing hotel security lock provider is needed?

The interior of the place is really nice. Fondue was good and the portion was more than sufficient for one person. Not a big selection of beers though and no snack options (not even cheese plate).

This place is nice for drinks on the terrace. However, the food was really a disappointment. Very long waiting time between the courses. The coquilles were salty & overdone. The fish was cooked to death & quite likely from the freezer. The steak was OK'ish. Live music on Saturday is so loud, it feels like you're at a concert. Walking out of this place with a hefty bill feels quite frustrating. Many places in the city offer waaaay better food.

This place is marvellous! Good food and welcoming and friendly staff! BUT..!!!! Unfortunately one hiring and training mistake they did. There's one blond waitress, who's able to switch off the sun from the sky and is probably at least a potential serial killer. Or maybe she's handicapped, but nobody this far informed anything like that to understand her behaviour. The negativity, bad attitude and throwing cutters, plates and glasses to customer's table without saying anything and definitely not smiling(!!!) and going immediately away without listening what customer would like to have, is so horrible, it's nearly a (bad) art in this place comparing to rest of the staff who are very civilised and friendly people. I go there often, many times on week, but if she is on the shift, I go somewhere else.

Nice place to hang out and having lunch or dinner. On Saturday evening during dinner time when we were there was a singer who gave us life performance 👍😎😍🍝☕
