Gold Bar

Location is great and the place is super cool. It is literary in an old bank's vault. Service is average and the drinks are a bit price but I think it is worth a visit. Great for dates or social activities. Not super easy to find so ask the reception in the hotel.

This is a unique bar with a poor standard of service. Visited on a Saturday night at 8.40pm. The bar had four occupied tables, with a total of 11 guests. We were seated at a comfortable sofa, the music was at the correct volume, and the ambience relaxed. We waited approximately 15 minutes for the waiter to come take our drinks order. And then the wait started. We finally received our drinks - 3 cocktails and a glass of wine, 40 minutes after we entered the establishment. The cocktails were well prepared, to the credit of the bartenders. But the wait was unacceptable - not once in my life have I waited 40 minutes for a drink. I observed the bartenders keenly through the 40 minute wait, and unfortunately, it was plainly apparent that this bar is a wholly amateur operation. Despite having two bartenders behind the bar at any given time, only one actively prepares drinks while the other observes the other. And there is hardly any swiftness in their operation, with both bumbling around behind the bar. The speed at which drinks were sent out was absolutely abysmal. Never have I seen a cocktail bar so slow and devoid of energy. Same goes for the food. Even though an order for an appetizer was placed alongwith the drinks order, the waiter came by to confirm the order once again, almost at the time we had finished our drinks. The food arrived only during our second round. The F&B manager of this establishment clearly thinks the Gold Bar is a hobby and not a real business. The service standards are far far below even average cocktail bars in the neighbourhood, let alone an upscale hotel as this one. Absolutely abysmal - apart from the fact that this bar is in a vault and has a nice ambience, this is is an expensive bar with service and hospitality that is far below the price it charges. I do not recommend.

This place is actually very unique . It was a vault that turn to nice Bar . I had few drinks and service is average.
