Vineyard Four Crafts

The wine was not good when we visited the Whisperboat.

Today I helped pick grapes with a group of volunteers in the vineyard. Strong wind in the polder, but wonderful among the branches. A real microclimate, little wind and higher temperatures than outside the vineyard. The vineyard can be reached from the water with the whisper boat, which starts at the mill in Spijkenisse and from the Bierse dike by car or bicycle. Red and white wine, rosé, Port, liqueur and sparkling wine are made. Very tasty wines from our own region. Highly recommended to visit and buy a nice bottle of wine.

Last week we went here for the first time, from the water it is a unique location. You arrive at a jetty where you are soon greeted the sweet dog. The garden where you can have a drink is completely surrounded by different trees and greenery. The shop is small as shown in pictures. There is a lot to be criticized for a toilet stop at the back. It is not clean, fresh or contemporary (rancid). I cannot tell you anything about the wine as we have not tasted or drunk it.

A nice and cozy place, but difficult parking.
